Multimedia Telesys, Inc.'s "low cost" Education and Monitoring System (EMS) provides a method of covert auditing of detainees behavior in sub jails, holding cells and day room locations. Monitoring a detainees behavior will help in the reduction of suicide attempts and will reduce officer's time by not having to leave the control room and check on detainees. Sub-jail and holding locations currently provide limited audio/video education and entertainment to temporary in-custody residents. The EMS provides a vehicle to deliver high quality audio and video to secured terminals located in dayrooms and holding and detention cell areas.
