Two-way detainee video monitoring (EMS System)
Multimedia Telesys, Inc. introduces the Education and Monitoring System (EMS) that provides a method of covert auditing of detainee's behavior in sub jails and holding cell locations. The EMS delivers high quality audio and video to secured terminals located in dayrooms and holding and detention cell areas. Multiple cells can watch the same educational program while simultaneously being monitored. The camera and monitor are enclosed in a stainless steel encasement communicating to a control unit in the officer's control room. The control unit records the detainee's behavior and what is being shown to the detainee. The EMS includes a multi-camera sequencing system that provides the full- screen picture of one to four linear cells at a time rotated through the inventory of 10 to 30 cells and dayrooms.
